Sponge Activity
One day, I desperately needed my littles to stop pulling on my legs while I got a few chores done. Soooo, I opened my sink cabinet, found some sponges, and cut them up. Yep! That easy!
Find a few sponges (bonus for fun bright colors), cut them up to random shapes and sizes, set them on a baking sheet, and drizzle some water on top.
Squeezing the sponges and soaking the water back up kept them so busy! Even my toddler who has to explore things with her mouth was safe and happy. Plus, I used a minimal amount of water, not enough for a significant mess, and if it got on the floor or furniture, it wasn’t a big deal at all.
I’ll definitely being tucking this trick away for future use.
